Museum pieces on the move
For 40 years, Autoworld Museum Brussels has been home to more than 300 historic vehicles in Brussels’ Cinquantenaire Park. Before the museum temporarily closed its doors for a major renovation, we wanted to take the collection outside one last time.
Not with a classic campaign about the museum, but with an idea you simply couldn’t miss. So, for the museum’s 40th anniversary, Superkraft decided not to keep these cars inside, but to set them loose on the streets of Brussels.
When the collection hits the streets
Cars get you from A to B without a problem. But how many still make you stop and look twice?
That’s exactly what the cars of Autoworld Museum Brussels do. They have a face, a story and a personality that are hard to forget.
Taxi, but make it iconic
In collaboration with Taxis Verts, we gave three iconic cars an unexpected new role: taxi.
A 1966 Ford Mustang, a 1991 Ferrari Testarossa and a Cadillac with royal history hit the streets of Brussels. Through the Taxis Verts app, unsuspecting locals and tourists could order a taxi, only to find a very special ride waiting at their doorstep.
A museum experience on four wheels
The three cars were driven by members of the Autoworld Museum Brussels team. They didn’t just take their passengers to their destination, but also shared the story behind each iconic vehicle along the way.
Turning an ordinary taxi ride into a museum experience on the move.
From the streets to the screen
The taxi rides were captured on camera and given a second life as content. This meant that even those who didn’t get the chance to book one of the three cars could discover the activation and the stories behind them.
A surprising way to celebrate 40 years of Autoworld Museum Brussels while announcing its temporary closure for renovation.
