Exploring the creative sole on our second Open Friday

  • Creative Concepts

On December 8th, at the occasion of our second ‘Open Friday’ event, we launched ‘Deconstructed Continuum’ – a fashion-oriented Superkraft line extension.

During the day, we invited creatives from all walks of life into our open workspace and gave them the opportunity to explore different forms of creativity, join workshops and talks by creative thought leaders, create their own fashion items, or simply get inspired by all of the above.

Deconstructed Continuum is a brand new Superkraft line extension: our very own brand of fashion apparel consisting of unique and exclusive pieces that embody both creativity and upcycling. The proceeds of these pieces will contribute to a good cause.

The Legacy of Virgil Abloh

Our line extension was launched at our second Open Friday event and drew inspiration from the legacy of Virgil Abloh. We took a deep dive into this late great creative’s work. Transcending the concept of the coworking space, we turned our offices into a playground for the wild, the weird, and the wonderfully creative.

DIY Atelier

Using creative screen printing and letterpress stations, visitors could create their own fashion statement pieces for Deconstructed Continuum. This way, we made our community part of the launch, while giving them a first taste of the brand at the same time.

Fly Sneaker Academy touched our soles

Bert Van den Broeck from Fly Sneaker Academy showed us the inspiring world of custom sneakers. Bert performed sneaker magic during live showcases and showed us how to customize our own sneakers and clothes. In his ‘grand finale’ Bert created our very own custom-made Superkraft Sneaker. Masterclass in creative entrepreneurship

Pieter Pauwels took the stage to tell the story of Panthers, his very own sneaker and streetwear boutique in the heart of Brussels. Elaborating on the influences of street culture, music, and basketball, this was a masterclass in creative entrepreneurship.

Inspiring streams & exhibition

Meanwhile, our cinema room was the place to soak up the genius of Virgil Abloh. An installation and a mini exhibition on the first floor further explored the Abloh experience.

If you couldn’t make it, don’t just live to regret it. Keep an eye on the Superkraft calendar and get your fix next time!
