What's in a name: Reintroducing Biscoff
In Belgium, when you think about coffee, you think about Lotus Speculoos. So, when that small yet essential cookie decided to rebrand to Lotus Biscoff, it caused quite the backlash from loyal customers. To ease them into the new name, we decided to reassure them by proving that nothing had actually changed.
The cookie they enjoy so much and its iconic taste are still the same. We had to remind buyers of all the positive feelings and memories they shared over Biscoff. Everyone is familiar with Biscoff’s taste, but it reminds everyone of something or someone different. It’s the taste of quality time, traditions, relaxing, coming home… An insight we poured into our campaign ‘Biscoff, the taste of…’
