Nutty ads for nakd

Bright colours and fresh branding elements... nākd's raw bars have everything it takes to stand out on shop shelves. However, they still could use just that little extra attention to become top of mind. Time for an extra push in the right direction using scroll-stopping social ads. 

Reach everyone to reach anyone

Nākd. had little to no experience with social ads. So it wasn’t exactly clear who they wanted to reach and who they would reach to begin with. Therefore, we decided to keep the target audience for Meta, Pinterest and YouTube as broad as possible during the first phase. The results of this then automatically reveal which audience we will continue to target in the following phases.

Nākd. takes great pride in their simplicity.
The bars contain no sugars and are made entirely from natural ingredients. Something nākd shares with the world in a very clear way through the tagline 'only fruit and nuts'. We quickly decided these properties and taglines should be highlighted in the ads as well. We poured the message in simple visuals in which the bars are surrounded by nuts and fruit and
supported it with spicy, humorous copy.

Snacks with a secret

Snacks with a secret After using these ads for two weeks to create awareness, we started the next phase of our plan: activation. For this, we transformed the ads into a competition with slogan 'Check your snack & win'.

We also provided digital OOH ads around the shops that sell nākd. This gave potential customers one last reminder right before stepping into the shop. The online ads reached 1.611.028 people. The Meta ads reached a frequency  of 4. This means that over 6 weeks, one person saw the ad 4 times. However, the YouTube and Pinterest ads are not yet concluded in this number so can still be added on top.
