Our social media experts were consulted to set up and manage Facebook and Instagram accounts for Gillette Venus in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. After the launch, we provided social strategy & content. Discover how we did it.
As there was absolutely no social presence for the brand in Belgium, the Netherlands or France, we had to start from scratch. In addition, we needed to reach out to young girls as soon as they entered the market for hair removal. With this young, challenging audience, a top social content strategy was required.
With the reach KPI in the back of our minds, we opted to launch Facebook + Instagram platforms. And that worked just perfectly. Content is generated every month by our creative teams and exists in branded, entertaining and promotional content. All content is created with the brand guidelines at our side.
Because we our target audience is at a very difficult age to please (13 – 24 y.o.) we are working in 3 pillars: entertaining content, product content and promotional content.
All content is created with a ‘no-logo strategy’: if you take away the logo, is it still content by Venus? If yes, then content is good to go.
With approximately 3 posts per month for Belgium, the Netherlands and France we manage to reach + 7 million people each month, with an average monthly engagement rate of 1.60%.
The audience reached is precisely on target. 97% of the audience is female, aged between 13 and 24.
In addition, with our promotional content and brand activations, we boosted sales numbers tremendously. That’s why we are now working on promotional content for specific retailers and e-retailers.
From a community management point of view, our team ensures that all questions and comments are addressed quickly. This has resulted in a very high response rate.
